England vs Australia, 2nd T20I Dream11 predictions: Captain, vice-captain and best picks
[ad_1]
World number T20I team Australia will look to bounce back and keep the series alive when they take the field against England on the second T20I on Sunday. The first match saw the hosts England turn the match in their favour despited Australia cruising at 124 for 1 at one time while chasing an ordinary target of 163 runs.
Several questions were raised on Australian middle-order and especially Marcus Stoinis after losing the match by 2 runs. Clearing the air, vice-captain Pat Cummins said that the management was looking to give a fair bit of game time to the batsmen to grow as finisher like MS Dhoni in the middle-order.
The England team will be relaxed with their good all-round performance in the opening match of series. Dawid Malan was sensational for the Three Lions with his 66 runs off just 43 deliveries, Jos Buttler also made a good return to T20I cricket. Jonny Bairstow, Eoin Morgan and Moeen Ali will like to join the party and put together on a massive total on the board.
England vs Australia, 2nd T20I, Dream11 team: Aaron Finch, Jonny Bairstow, Steve Smith, Eoin Morgan, Glenn Maxwell (C), Jos Buttler (W), Adil Rashid, Jofra Archer, Adam Zampa, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins.
Captain: Glenn Maxwell
Vice-captain: Aaron Finch
Batsmen
Aaron Finch looked solid in the first match with his 32-ball 46 and this might be his day to go big at Ageas Bowl. Jonny Bairstow and Steve Smith are two batsmen who are always in search of scoring opportunities, a good performance for them is always round the corner. Eoin Morgan is going through a good run, his performance in Ireland ODIs and Pakistan T20Is was impressive. He can accelerate in the end as well.
All-rounders
Again, plenty of options. Let’s put Glenn Maxwell in first. If required Pat Cummins can also swing his bat, his pace bowling quality is not a hidden fact anymore.
Wicketkeeper
Jos Buttler made a good return to T20I cricket after 2 back to back Test series’ and that leaves us with no choice but to only go with this talismanic wicketkeeper-batsman
Bowlers
Pace kings Jofra Archer, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins is a dream trio undoubtedly, Adil Rashid was clinical in England’s win on Friday. Adam Zampa can surely provide a good company to Rashid.
