A pensioner has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in her home.
Police were called after the body of a 62-year-old woman was found at her house in Eastbourne, East Sussex, around 3.25pm on Friday afternoon.
A 73-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody while being interviewed by detectives and as police carry out an investigation.

Detective Inspector Barry Chandler said: ‘Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this tragic time for them, but our investigation is at an early stage and we are working to establish the full circumstances of her death.’
