Love Island champ Amber Gill has revealed she was offered £60,000 to spend three days in Dubai with a sugar daddy.
The former beautician from Newcastle opened up on all the strange DMs she has ever received since gaining fame from her reality TV stint in 2019.
The Geordie babe was joined by Snoochie and Kaz Crossley on BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Slide Into My Podcast to talk about sugar daddies and weird messages she has previously received.
Amber made a confession she has had lots of weird messages about long-lost family and kids, but was even offered a huge sum of money to live in Dubai with a paying sugar daddy.
She explained: “I think I’ve only had two DMs ever about sugar daddies, and I actually accepted the message.
“Not because I was gonna accept the offer, but because I couldn’t see what it was.
“You know, when somebody sends something, you can’t see what it is, because you need to accept the message in order to see what it is. And I was so intrigued by what was being said.”
She added: “I was like, wait, somebody would pay like 60 grand for me to go and spend three days with them.
“I think it was like Dubai or something like that. Madness. So I took the message. But I never replied to the person.”
Amber revealed the person wouldn’t give in and kept upping the offer.
She said: “So this person keeps upping the offer. Obviously I don’t ever reply and I don’t open them anymore because now I know what it is.
“And they keep like saying, ‘OK, well, not 40 grand then, we’ll do 50 grand for three nights’.”
“And I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh’. Imagine if I was like, ‘Yes’.”
Amber also revealed she often has strangers message her claiming to be long-lost relatives.
She admitted some people message and say “I’m your daughter how did you let go of me like that, why have you forgotten about me since you’ve got all this fame?”
But Amber thinks: “Are you mad?”
Meanwhile, Kaz admitted someone had once messaged her management to ask how much she’d cost for five nights in Dubai.
She announced: “So my management let me know one time that he actually had a legit person message them to ask how much I would cost for five nights in Dubai.”
Their DMs must be full of all sorts!
