Pakistan captain Azhar Ali posted an adorable video of him meeting his son after more than 2 months as he returned home from the England tour on Wednesday night.

Pakistan went down 1-0 against England in the three-match Test series against England in Southampton and Manchester.

The series had started on August 5 but the Pakistan cricket team had reached the country well before that to enter the bio-secure bubble. The Test team players reached back home in Pakistan on August 2.

Azhar posted a video of his first meeting with his son after landing in Pakistan. His son initially couldn’t recognise his father, who then remove his mask to reveal his identity.

“So nice to be back with family after over 2 months missed them a lot,” Azhar Ali captioned the post.

Fast bowler Wahab Riaz also posted a video with his little kids after touching down back home.

“And this is who we do it for. Great to be home back with family after a long 2 month trip. Family give you the best joy like no other,” Wahab wrote.

Pakistan lost the first Test by 3 wickets in Manchester while the next two matches in Southampton ended in draws as poor weather conditions left no time to force a result.

Both teams then played a three-match T20I series which ended in a 1-1 draw with England winning the second match by 5 wickets while Pakistan clinched the final by 5 runs in Manchester. The first T20I couldn’t produce a result due to rain.
