Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reportedly planning on raising their newborn daughter Daisy Dove Bloom in the UK.
The showbiz couple welcomed their bundle of joy earlier this week and said they’re “floating with love and wonder” after little Daisy was born.
While this is Katy’s first child, Orlando, 43, is now a father-of-two, sharing his son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
But it seems as though the pair might have to settle for occasional visits from Flynn, after a source told OK! mag that the pair are planning on raising their baby girl in England.
The insider claimed: “It doesn’t matter what happens in the November election, Katy and Orlando are moving to England…
“They have decided that they want their daughter to grow up in the UK.”
Mirror Online has contacted Katy and Orlando’s reps for comment.
With Brexit looming over the UK, Orlando and Katy will likely be able to make the move without any problems as Orlando is a British citizen, and the pair plan on tying the knot after the pandemic.
Katy and Orlando took the unusual step of announcing the birth through Unicef, with the pair being goodwill ambassadors for the charity.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” the couple said in statement, alongside a black and white picture of them holding Daisy’s tiny hand.
Their statement continued: “But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was.
“Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes.
“Since Covid-19, many more newborn lives are at risk because of a greater lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases.”
They added: “As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathise with struggling parents now more than ever.”
The couple said they have set up a donation page to mark Daisy’s birth, with the money going towards new mothers and their children.
The couple added: “By supporting Unicef, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your (heart) can bloom with generosity.”
