Pixie Lott on plans to start a family as Voice Kids leaves her feeling broody

Pixie Lott says she can’t wait to start a family – but has hinted it may be a little way off as she is still planning her wedding to model Oliver Cheshire.

The 29-year-old pop singer has been engaged to 32-year-old hunk Oliver since November 2016 – and their big day has been delayed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Having been a judge on ITV’s The Voice Kids for the past three years, Pixie says mentoring youngsters has left her feeling broody to start a family of her own.

However, she hinted all of her major life plans are on hold until a solution to the ongoing global health crisis caused by the COVID-19 virus is discovered.

Opening up to The Sun, Pixie discussed family plans – as well as wedding plans.

She said: “Family is everything for me so I would love to have my own family when I can find the time. When the time is right I would love that. It’s such an amazing thing to have.

“We were planning to have our wedding this year and now ­everything is so up in the air, we’ve just delayed it.

“There’s still a lot of planning behind the scenes but we are waiting for the time there are no restrictions and rules, because we don’t really want to have that on the special day.”

At present, Government rules limit weddings to include only 30 guests, while strict rules are also in place in regards to catering, dancing, and music.

Pixie and Oliver have been in a relationship since 2010 – becoming engaged when Oliver popped the question in November 2016.

Chart topping star Pixie has already enjoyed a hen party, however, jetting off to celebrate with friends back in September 2018.

The star previously said: “I want six hen dos – and I’ve always wanted to have two weddings.”

“I don’t want to rush it. I want it to be absolutely perfect.”
