Furious Rebekah Vardy ‘files new bombshell to get Coleen Rooney into court asap’

Becky Vardy has reportedly filed new documents to get Coleen Rooney into court.

The WAGs went to war after Coleen Rooney accused Rebekah’s  Instagram  account of leaking stories while Becky insisted she wants a public apology for defamation.

Their explosive falling out played out over social media and now it’s set to take centre stage in the courtroom.

Legal bills for the case have reportedly been spiralling and costs could rack up to £500,000 on each side.

A source told The Sun: “Things have been rumbling on for ages, and costs ­spiralling too.

“This will mean that a judge can actually get to the crux of the case — and make those involved put up or shut up. It should mean things can finally get moving and dealt with quickly.

“This is a shot across the bows. It effectively says, ‘Come on, stop mucking about, let’s get on with this’. It certainly isn’t what Coleen will want. It puts her on the back foot.”

Mirror Online has reached out to Becky Vardy and Coleen Rooney’s representatives for further comment.

Becky brought her High Court claim in June.

Coleen’s legal team reportedly stalled the case by asking for more time.

No date has been set for a court hearing but the case will proceed to a trial unless a settlement is reached between the parties.

It’s the celebrity courtroom case everyone has been talking about.

Quickly fans dubbed the fall-out “Wagatha Christie” after Coleen claimed to have worked out it was Becky’s Instagram leaking stories by doing “detective” work.

Becky vehemently denies the allegations.
