It will not be long before Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner will be in UAE to play in the IPL 2020 but before that he would like to finish his national duties comprehensively. He is currently with his teammates in England and is all set to feature in the T20I and ODI series of 3-matches each, which will kick start from September 4.
It’s not confirmed if the Australian opener will be travelling to UAE with his family comprising of his wife and three daughters, but on Monday, he shared an adorable picture of his daughters ‘raiding’ the house after being left alone for “a day”. The two daughters have also pulled out a perfect pose to be clicked.
“Leave your kids for one day and they raid your wardrobe,” David Warner captioned the picture.
During the coronavirus pandemic, David Warner’s social media presence had increased manifolds. His daughters were often found doing cameo roles in his very viral videos appreciated even by some Bollywood stars.
David Warner was renamed captain of the Hyderabad-based IPL franchise before the start of IPL 2020, which was originally scheduled for March 29. SRH had won their maiden IPL title under the captaincy of David Warner in 2016. However, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson had taken up the role after Warner’s ban due to a ball tampering scandal in 2018 and had done a fine job by taking the team into the final of 2018 edition.
“It’s great to be back and leading, but everyone in that team is a leader in their own right. From where I sit, nothing is different. I still considered myself as a leader when I was there last year. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve got a ‘C’ next to your name or not,” David Warner had recently told.
