Britney Spears reveals her religion, clubbing and court issues in quick-fire fan Q&A
Britney Spears revealed she only went out clubbing ‘twice’ during her four years of living in Las Vegas between 2013-2017 in a fan Q&A on Wednesday.
‘The first big question you guys asked me was what’s the last huge party I went to. Believe it or not,’ the 38-year-old pop star – who boasts 126.7M social media followers – said via Instagram.
‘It was probably like three or four years ago. And it was a club called XS [Nightclub inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas] and I danced with a friend.’
Britney lived in Nevada while headlining her successful $137.7M-grossing Piece of Me residency at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
When asked about her religion, Spears said: ‘I grew up Baptist but I ended up studying Kabbalah, so I go back and forth. But I do believe there is a God.’
Despite releasing 28 self-titled fragrances, the Mississippi-born blonde said her favorite perfume was Tom Ford, and she also revealed she likes Nordstrom and Happy Meals at McDonald’s.
That same day, Spears filmed her toyboy Sam Asghari pretending to make an acceptance speech while holding her only Grammy Award for best dance recording of Toxic in 2005.
The Mood Ring singer then panned over all 29 of her trophies from MTV, remarking: ‘I didn’t know I had so many Moon Men!’
The fan-voted 37th Annual MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by Keke Palmer, air on August 30 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Live performers taking the stage in the vacant 19K-seat stadium will include BTS, The Weeknd, Maluma, J Balvin, CNCO, Doja Cat, and Roddy Ricch.
Britney also posted a bikini-clad video of herself doing yoga poses on a beach in Malibu on Wednesday.
However, the video of Spears was most likely shot on Tuesday when she and the 26-year-old fitness trainer rode their bicycles to the beach together.
The former Mouseketeer has been dating Sam since shortly after October 2016 when she cast him as her love interest in her Slumber Party music video.
Last week, Asghari shared an amazing before/after of his glow up – revealing he used to be a member of the ‘chunky boy friendzoned club’ and ‘became very close to obese’ after high school.
The next court hearing on Britney’s 12-year permanent conservatorship under her father Jamie (and various attorneys) will be held on August 22.
And in September, Spears will celebrate the 15th and 14th birthdays of her sons Sean and Jayden with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whose custodial rights went from 50–50 to 70-30 in 2019, according to TMZ.
The custody change came after the bipolar singer’s 30-day stint at an ‘all-encompassing wellness facility’ ended.
