Ravindra Jadeja’s wife caught without mask, argued with police

Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba had an argument with a police constable in Rajkot, Gujarat, who asked her the reason for not wearing masks. The police gave this information on Tuesday.

Ravindra Jadeja was driving a car at the time of the incident on Monday night. A senior police officer said that Jadeja was wearing a mask, but Rivaba did not.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Manohar Singh Jadeja told PTI that the wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja had a heated argument with head constable Sonal Gosai, who stopped the car at Kisanpada Chowk after seeing Rivaba not wearing a mask.

The DCP said, ‘Our initial investigation has revealed that Rivaba did not wear a mask. It is a matter of investigation as to why the matter escalated, we have come to know that there was a debate between the two sides.

The DCP said that after an argument, Sonal complained of discomfort, after which he was taken to a nearby hospital.

The officer said that after half an hour he was discharged and he is fine now. No FIR has been registered in this case so far.
