Rhea Chakraborty issues video statement : Says hurt by agenda being run against her, truth shell prevail
Days after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, the actress has been on the radar of the netizens. And now she has released a video statement and stated that she believes that she will get justice.

Actress Riya Chakraborty on Friday broke the silence on the allegations in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case saying that she has full faith in the judicial system and God. Sushant’s father KK Singh had lodged an FIR in Patna making many serious allegations against Riya.Â
Riya Chakraborty said through the video, ‘I have full faith in God and the judiciary. I will surely get justice. Many big things were said about me. My lawyer has not declined to comment on this for now.
Let me tell you that Riya filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding transfer of the case to the Mumbai Police. Riya has said that she has no hand in Sushant’s suicide. However, in the petition, Riya admitted that she had been living in a live-in with Sushant Singh Rajput for the past one year.
Riya wrote in the petition that she left Sushant’s flat on June 8 and went to her house. Riya said that Sushant was struggling with depression and was also taking anti-depression medication. Apart from this, Riya also said in the petition that as per Section 177 of CrPC, investigation and hearing of criminal case can be done only where the crime has taken place. Along with this, he demanded transfer of the case to Mumbai.Â

Rhea’s team also sent out a clarification regarding a video that has been widely circulated on social media. “I was doing a stand-up act,” said Rhea about the video.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father had filed a complaint against Rhea in Patna, after which the Bihar Police registered an FIR. He had accused Rhea of threatening Sushant and siphoning off Rs 15 crore from the actor’s account. He said that Rhea’s cheating and threatening pushed Sushant to kill himself. A four-member team of Bihar Police went to Mumbai to investigate the case following Sushant’s father’s complaint.
