These questions were asked in 4 hours questioning from Dharma Production CEO in Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case

Mumbai: More than a month and a half has passed since the suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and the Mumbai Police is still trying to find the cause of death. The Mumbai Police has so far recorded statements of 39 people, including prominent film producers, directors and actors.

On Tuesday, Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Karan Johar’s company Dharma Production, reached out to the investigation team to record his statement. Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is going on in Bandra but Apoorva’s statement was recorded in Amboli police station.

Apurva was questioned for about 4 hours. Apoorva Mehta arrived before the investigating officer with a contract copy of the film drive. According to Mumbai Police sources, the Mumbai Police questioned the working relationship between Sushant and Dharma Productions. A big part of the question and answer was about Sushant’s film Drive.

These were five questions:

  • The investigating officer asked whether it was already decided that the film would not be released on the big screen?
  • Why was it finally released on Netflix?
  • Why did Sushant not show interest in film promotion?
  • Did this film spoil Karan and Sushant’s relationship?
  • Did Dharma Production Ban Sushant?

All these questions were answered by Apoorva Mehta, whose cross examination will be done by the police. In the coming days in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, Karan Johar may also be questioned. Actress Kangana Ranaut’s statement will also be recorded
