Nalini’s lawyer Puglenti informed ‘India Today’ over the phone. According to the lawyer, this happened for the first time with Nalini, who had been in jail for the past 29 years, when she tried to commit suicide. The lawyer said that there was an alleged quarrel between Nalini and an inmate in the jail. Nalini, who had a quarrel, is also locked up in life imprisonment. The prisoner complained to the jailer about the quarrel, after which Nalini tried to commit suicide.

The lawyer said that Nalini had never made such an attempt before, so efforts are being made to know the real reason for this. Pugalenti said that Nalini’s husband Murugan is also jailed in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case. He has requested that Nalini be shifted from Vellore jail to Pujhal jail. Lawyer Pugalenti said that this demand of Murugan would be raised in the court.
