He is likely to meet Congress high command Sonia Gandhi.
Earlier on Saturday, Ashok Gehlot accused the BJP of destabilizing the government. The Chief Minister has asked his MLAs to write letters of support, while Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has reached Delhi with his supporters. Political analysts believe that there has been a split in the Congress party in Rajasthan because both the CM and the Deputy CM are busy showing their strength.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot alleged that BJP has tried to lure Congress and independent MLAs and destabilize their government. On Saturday evening, Gehlot met several ministers and MLAs at his residence and asked him to sign a letter of support.
ACB lodges PE against 3 Independent MLAs On
Saturday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday registered a Primary Investigation (PE) against three Independent MLAs for luring legislators as part of efforts to destabilize the Congress government in Rajasthan. . The Special Task Force (SOG) has already registered a case in this regard on Friday. Bureau sources said that ACB has registered PE against MLAs Om Prakash Hoodla, Suresh Tak and Khushvir Singh. It is alleged that these MLAs offered money to some other MLAs from the BJP to topple the state government.
