Good news has emerged for the fans of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and actress Katrina Kaif. It is reported that these two stars will be seen on screen together. Zoya Akhtar, director of the film ‘Galli Boy’ with both stars is going to make the film. The film will be based on Hollywood’s Oscar Winning film.

According to Pinkvilla, Zoya Akhtar’s film will be a crime drama. Not only this, the report said that the film will be inspired by the Hollywood story. The film will be the Hindi follow-up to the Hollywood film ‘The Departed’. However, the film will not be a remake of ‘The Departed’ as Zoya wants to change the story. Zoya has also purchased copy rights. The Hollywood film ‘Departed’ won an Oscar award in 2006. According to reports, Zoya has cast Ranveer Singh for the role of Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Ranveer has agreed to this role. Katrina Kaif has been offered for the lead role of the film. If Katrina also accepts it, then Ranveer and Kat will be seen together on the big screen for the first time
