Assistant professor recorded pornographic video of woman in Dibrugarh, arrested for uploading on Porn site
District Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh, Shreejit T told that the Assistant Professor of Mathematics has been arrested on the basis of an FIR lodged by the registrar of the university. It has been alleged in the FIR that the assistant professor had uploaded the video on a porn website.
An assistant professor of Assam’s Dibrugarh University has been arrested on Friday for allegedly making pornographic videos and posting it on the Internet. This information has been given by a senior police officer.
District Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh, Shreejit T told PTI that the Assistant Professor of Mathematics has been arrested on the basis of an FIR lodged by the university registrar. It has been alleged in the FIR that the assistant professor had uploaded the video on a porn website.
“A person who looks like an assistant professor in a viral video on the internet is seen in an objectionable position with a woman. We raided his house on Thursday evening and seized his laptop,” he said.
The SP said, “In interrogation, the assistant professor confessed to his crime. He made that video three years ago in a hotel in Guwahati with the woman.” He said that the camera used in the recording has also been seized.
According to the SP, the assistant professor has claimed that the woman seen in the video was not a university student. The SP further said that a case has been registered against the Assistant Professor under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
