Kanpur Encounter – Police killed Vikas Dubey’s brother and maternal uncle, accused of killing eight policemen

Eight policemen, including the CO and Shivrajpur SO, were killed in an encounter with police and colleagues of notorious historyheater Vikas Dubey at Bikaru village in Kanpur, UP. The police team, which went to a midnight raid, was fired from the roof and windows. Many policemen are also seriously injured in this incident. Police have piled two relatives of Vikas Dubey in an encounter going on till Friday morning. It is being told that Vikas’s maternal uncle and cousin were killed in the encounter.

The police have sealed all boundaries of Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat, Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Etawah, Auraiya of Kanpur division. After the incident in the village located on GT Road, condensation has been carried out by putting a barrier on GT Road. At the same time, forensic teams have also reached the spot for investigation. Police have been deployed all around the house of criminal development.

Friday morning, Shivli police took Vikas Dubey’s brother-in-law Dinesh Tiwari into custody. Police checked the activities of Dinesh and his family on the basis of CCTV footage installed in his house.

ADG said: Police lapse 

After visiting the spot, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that the miscreants had come to dominate the police who had gone to the house of Vikas Dubey on Thursday night, the police team went unprepared. He had no idea that Vikas and his companions were inside with the realities. This omission was overshadowed. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Prashant Kumar, directly from Lucknow, said that there has been a lapse on behalf of the police in this case. He will soon submit his report to CM. There will be a high level investigation of the case. Now many teams are engaged with STF.
