Bollywood actress Shantipriya reacted to the recent developments in the industry regarding discrimination and appearance. Actually, Shantipriya made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Saugandh’. In this film, she was in the lead role with Akshay Kumar. During the shooting, Akshay Kumar made a rude comment about the color of his events. 

Shantipriya says that it is the year of 1991. I had to wear a short dress for the film. I also wore At that time, Akshay Kumar commented while making fun of the color of my events. Akshay said that your knees are not excessively black? Shantipriya further says that though it was a joke but I felt very bad. That sentence had settled in my mind. I cried a lot but I never used fairness cream.

Shantipriya’s statement became increasingly viral on social media, after which she had to post another post clarifying it. Shantipriya wrote that I want to make it clear that Akshay Kumar was only having fun with me when he made this comment. Although this comment of his stayed with me for some time, I know that he did not do this to hurt me. I like his work and wish that his career continues to shine like this.
