Dada Nepal’s PM- Father Minister, Manisha Koirala hails from political family
Actress Manisha Koirala, who is supporting Nepal in the ongoing border dispute case between India and Nepal, is in tremendous headlines. In fact, recently, India inaugurated a road in Lipulekh area. Tibet is the only way to go to Mansarovar in China via script.
After the construction of this road, Nepal strongly opposed India’s move. Manisha is constantly tweeting on this issue, due to which many of her Indian fans are also angry with her. Manisha Koirala, who comes from a family of Nepalese, has seen many ups and downs in life.
Manisha Koirala belongs to the royal family of Nepal but her childhood was spent in a very simple environment. Manisha’s grandfather brought her father into Nepal’s political movement and sent Manisha to grandmother in Benaras. Her grandmother was Bharatanatyam and Manipuri dancer while mother Kathak was a dancer. There was a good atmosphere of classical song and music at his home and from the age of three, he was taught to dance in different genres.
Manisha is from Nepal but her childhood is spent in Uttar Pradesh. His father Prakash Koirala has been a minister in the government of Nepal and has been a former environment minister, while grandfather BP aka Bisweshar Prasad Koirala has been the Prime Minister of Nepal in the 1950s and 60s. BP Koirala’s family has a special relationship with Banaras. As a child, Manisha Koirala studied at Vasanta Kanya College in Banaras and came to Delhi for higher studies.
Manisha wanted to serve people as a doctor in childhood, but modeling opened the doors of the film world for her. Manisha’s film career started in the year 1991 with the film Saudagar directed by Subhash Ghai. The film proved to be the biggest blockbuster film of that year. Directed by Subhash Ghai, the film featured veteran actors Dilip Kumar and Rajkumar along with Manisha.

Despite being from a non-film family, Manisha managed to establish herself in the industry and became recognized as a successful actress in the 90s.
Manisha has shown her acting in many successful films like Criminal, Bombay, Dil Se, Akela Hum Akela Tum, Mana, Khamoshi, Gupta, Kutche Dhaage, Tulsi, Sanju, Prabandham. She is still active in webseries and films and also appeared in the blockbuster film Sanju some time back.
In 2010, Manisha married Nepali industrialist Samrat Dahal. Both of them had a love marriage. In both the wedding, stars such as actors Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Deepti Naval, Vivek Mushran, Suman Ranganathan arrived from Bollywood. However, both of them got divorced in 2012 after two years of marriage.
