CSK sacked team doctor, created ruckus on social media by tweet
Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday suspended team doctor Madhu Thotapillil for posting on social media after 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in a clash with Chinese soldiers in Galvan, eastern Ladakh, as the IPL franchise termed it as malicious. CSK captain is Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is on the rank of honorary lieutenant in the Territorial Army. CSK announced this suspension on its official Twitter page.
India Cements is the owner of former BCCI president N Srinivasan. According to the statement, ‘Chennai Superkins management was not aware of the tweet made by Dr. Madhu Thotapillini. He has been suspended from the post of team doctor.

Accordingly, ‘Chennai Superkings regrets his tweet which was done without the management’s knowledge and it was malicious’. He has been with the team since the start of the IPL and is an expert in sports medicine. This is the biggest confrontation between the Indian and Chinese forces in the Galvan Valley in the last five decades, which has increased the deadlock on the border in the region.
