Patna: A day after Sushant Singh Rajput’s reported suicide, his family on Monday alleged that the Bollywood actor did not kill himself but he was murdered. The family further said that there is a conspiracy behind his death and demanded a police investigation in the matter.
While speaking to media, Sushant’s maternal uncle said, “We don’t think he committed suicide, police must investigate the matter. There seems to be a conspiracy behind his death. He has been murdered.”
Jan Adhikar Party chief Pappu Yadav also paid a visit to the actor’s residence in Patna and met with his family. After the meeting, he told reporters, “Sushant Singh Rajput has been murdered, he cannot commit suicide. I demand CBI enquiry into the matter.”
Meanwhile, if sources are believed, the Bollywood actor was clinically diagnosed with depression 5-6 months ago. A senior Mumbai Police officer has reached out to Sushant’s personal doctor and will soon record his statement.
Yesterday, Rajput’s sister and his manager told the Mumbai Police that he was battling depression and stopped taking his medicines a while ago.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy report says otherwise
Postmortem of the actor was conducted at Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital in Mumbai and the autopsy report suggested that prima facie it is a case of suicide. The organs of Sushant Singh Rajput’s has been sent to JJ Hospital for analysis to check any poisonous substance in the organs.
According to reports, the last rites of the deceased actor will be performed after his father and other family members arrive in Mumbai from Patna today.
