Speaking to India Today, activist Nutan Thakur claimed, ‘I got a mobile phone recording from a source in which a middleman is talking to the father of a woman minister in the UP government. The middleman is giving a bribe of Rs 5 lakh to the minister’s father and a Wagon R car for a change in a list.
Nutan Thakur said, ‘This is a case of corruption and I made a complaint on the IGRS portal of the state government. Based on my complaint, the Ashiana Police Station of Lucknow investigated the case. The police does not want to take any action. The police has said in its report that only the person giving money is repeatedly telling and the other person has not been heard asking for bribe.
If Nutan Thakur believes, the police have told him that until the name and voice sample of this middleman is provided, it will be difficult to arrive at the right facts, the police has said that the expert will be sought for opinion and Then further action will be taken.

In the audio clip of a phone conversation given by Nutan Thakur, a person can be heard allegedly talking to the minister’s father on the phone and he pleads to meet the minister. The second person, who is allegedly the father of the minister, can be heard in response saying that the meeting cannot take place as the assembly session is going on.
After this, the caller requested the person to change a list, then offered Rs 5 lakh and a Wagon R car to complete his work and said that the list would come in 1 or 2 days. In response, he was assured that he (referring to the minister) has said that the work will be done.

Women Minister did not respond
However, the woman minister has not responded to this issue and we made several attempts to contact her. The woman minister was summoned by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in November last year after an audio clip went viral in which she was heard reprimanding a police officer for filing an FIR against a builder group.
