Los Angeles : Actor Justice Smith calls himself Gay, voicing support for black gays and transgenders
Los Angeles. Actor Justice Smith, after the death of George Floyd, described himself as gay (queer) amidst demonstrations about the importance of the lives of black people in the country. Smith made this disclosure via an Instagram post on Friday and through his disclosure, demanded the inclusion of black gays and transgender people in the movement against violence and systemic racism. The 24-year-old actor also shared a video of his performance in New Orleans.
With the clip, Smith wrote, “We chanted slogans ‘Black transgender people’s lives matter’, ‘Black gay people have lives valued’, ‘All black people’s lives are important’.” I am a black gay man myself, so I am disappointed to see that some people are desperate to say that black people ‘lives matter, but when the word transgender / quir was added, their tongue was locked. “

Smith also shared that she and “Queen Sugar” actor Nicholas Ashe (25) are the couple. He said, “If your revolution does not include the voice of black queer people, then it is anti-black people.” Smith is known for acting in films such as “Pokemon: Detective Pikachu” and “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”.
