Milind Soman took to Twitter to announce that he is no longer a TikTok user.
Supermodel and actor Milind Soman took to Twitter on Friday night to announce that he is no longer a TikTok user.
Milind’s move comes after engineer turned education reformer Sonam Wangchuk posted a video and encouraged citizens to delete TikTok and boycott everything made in China. “I am no longer on TikTok #BoycottChineseProducts,” Milind wrote in his tweet. He also shared a short clip from Wangchuk’s original video.
Sonam Wangchuk is the man who inspired Phunsukh Wangdu’s character which was played by Aamir Khan in the film 3 Idiots. He recently released a YouTube video titled, China Ko Jawaab Sena Degi Bullet Se, Naagrik Dengey Wallet Se. His video came as a response to the aggression between India and China in Ladakh.
In his video, Wangchuk said that not just soldiers, citizens should also respond to China. He explained the ways that the citizens can leave an impact. He said, “Is baar Bharat ki bullet power se zyada wallet power kaam aayegi. (This time instead of the bullet power, wallet power will play a more important role.)” He further went on to explain that China earns almost Rs 5 lakh crores from its business with India every year and this money is in return used at the borders to kill our soldiers.
