A sensational case has come out of Kollam in Kerala. The state police has arrested a man whose wife died of snake bite.
In the preliminary investigation, the police have come to know that husband Sooraj used snakes to kill his wife Uthara. Uthra was found dead on May 7 in the zone. Initial investigation has revealed that Uthra died of snake bite.

In fact, Uthra’s family members suspected the incident as he was bitten by a snake in March. Investigation revealed that Saroj, the husband, had made his first attempt to kill his wife through snake in February itself.
Police said that Saroj, with the help of his friend Suresh, aroused a viper (snake) and this snake bitten the shallow. Uthra was admitted to the hospital after a snake bite, where after recovering, she went to her maternal home in the zone to be near her parents.
According to the police, after failing in the first attempt, Saroj sought the help of his old friend Suresh again and in April got the Cobra. While sleeping on the night of 6 May, Saroj left the snake on the body of his wife Uthara. Snake bitten Uthra twice while Saroj kept watching it all there. Later Uthra was admitted to the hospital, but this time she could not be saved and doctors declared Uthra dead.

Police say that behind this whole incident there is a case of transferring money found in dowry. It is being told that Saroj had received a lot of dowry in the form of gold ornaments and cash, but he was not happy about Uthra. Saroj wanted more money and wanted to marry another woman and live with her. Currently, Saroj and his friend Suresh have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
