Hisar ,Haryana : Wife suspected on not conducting corona test, husband arrested

A peculiar case has emerged from Haryana, people were surprised to hear. A young man would not have thought that not having the corona test would make him so expensive that he would reach behind bars of the jail. The interesting thing is that his wife sent him to jail. In fact, his wife complained to the police and got him arrested after a young man returned from Punjab to Haryana did not get the corona test done. 

This case is from Hisar in Haryana. According to the Hisar Civil Line Police, the wife had complained against the youth who returned from Punjab to Hisar in Haryana, not to undergo the corona virus test and violated the lockdown, after which she has been arrested under various sections. In the complaint given to the police, the woman said that her husband Sandeep had returned from Talwandi Sabo, Punjab. She told her husband to go to the civil hospital and get the corona virus tested, but he was not getting it tested. 

The wife had some doubts over her husband about Corona. At the same time, the woman alleges that when she repeatedly spoke to Sandeep for a corona test, he threatened to kill her and beat her up. After which the police registered a case in this case for violating the lockdown, assault and threatening to kill. The police arrested the accused after investigation. 

The police produced the accused husband in the court from where he was sent to jail. A lawsuit was filed at Hisar Civil Line Police Station under Section 188, 505, 506, 323, 506 and Disaster Management Section. The investigating officer said that his wife had some doubts about her husband on Corona. The wife had approached the hospital regarding the matter, but the accused husband ran away from home as soon as he came to know about the arrival of the health worker.

In-charge of the case, police station in-charge Jaswant Singh said that the accused husband beat his wife and also threatened to kill her. After which case was filed against accused Sandeep. Jaswant Singh further informed that the woman’s husband came from Punjab. She asked her husband to get corona test done but she did not get it done. After which, after filing a case on the complaint, the accused husband was arrested. During this time, samples were taken after getting Sandeep examined in the hospital and later he was sent to jail.
