Tinaa Dattaa’s lockdown turns into a vacation in Goa with Aashka Goradia: I am lucky
Uttaran actress has been in Goa for the last two months. The actress is enjoying her time with friend Aashka Goradia.
Uttaran actress Tinaa Dattaa is currently in Goa with friends Aashka Goradia and Brent Goble. The actress has been sharing pictures and videos of herself doing yoga in Goa, along with a few throwback images.
In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actress shared how she is spending her time in Goa. Tinaa Dattaa had arrived in Goa to attend Aashka Goradia and husband Brent Goble’s yoga workshop when the lockdown was announced. When the situation in India started to worsen, she decided to stay in Goa. “Since January, every month, I attend Aashka and Brent’s yoga workshop. I had come here on March 13 or 14 and was supposed to return on March 22. But by then, the situation across India had worsened. My parent called me and asked me to come to Kolkata. But, I didn’t want to put their lives at risk, as we live in a joint family and going there would have been risky for my grandmother, uncle and father. So, I decided to stay here as Aashu (Aashka Goradia) treats me like a sister,” said the Uttaran actress.
Tinaa is staying in a Portuguese house in Goa, which is quite spacious and she is enjoying it. “In Mumbai, people stay in apartments, which gets quite claustrophobic. My friends have been calling me and saying that they are going mad in Mumbai. And, in Goa, where I am staying, it’s a Portuguese house. They are huge and spacious. We roam around in the house and then do yoga, which Brent Jiju teaches us. I call him Guruji. Yoga keeps my mind stable,” added Tinaa.
Tinaa Dattaa has known Aashka Goradia for 10 years now and feels she is lucky to be with her during the lockdown. She said, “I have known Aashu for 10 years. We are quite close. She is very caring. We even share the same birthday. Even our natures are quite similar, which is why we connect easily. Whenever I miss my family, she motivates me and sometimes even gets me chocolates to lift my mood. I am lucky to be with her during the lockdown.”

Goa might be in the green zone but the people there are still taking precautions. “It might be a green zone but none of the restaurants has opened. One good thing is, all the grocery shops are open till 5 pm, and even we are taking all the precautions to stay safe, be it regularly sanitising our hands or cleaning things that we get from outside,” she concluded.
Tinaa Dattaa rose to fame with Colors TV’s Uttaran. After Uttaran, she was also seen in &TV’s Daayan.
