Neemuch MP : Police took the young man for 15 km by hanging him outside the car for fear of Corona

Neemuch. A picture has emerged from Neemuch district. The police took a young man in his car on the foot rest behind the rear and took him 15 kilometers away. This young man was returning from Maharashtra on foot. When the police caught sight of him at the border, the police questioned him and then took him back to his vehicle for investigation. The police probably did this to maintain social distance in fear of Corona. SP (SP) said that this was a move taken by the police in extreme enthusiasm which could prove fatal.

A video of Neemuch’s Manasa police station has surfaced. Call it fear of the corona virus or negligence done in the over enthusiasm of the police, which put the life of a young man at risk. Here, a youth returning from Maharashtra was caught by the police for about 15 km on the foot rest behind his vehicle. Actually, Manasa police had received information that a young man was coming from Maharashtra on foot. He is passing through the village of Nalkheda. On the information, the police came to Nalkheda village for questioning and took him to Manasa by hanging in the back of his vehicle for investigation.

During this time, the youth kept hanging behind the police vehicle for about 15 kilometers. Thankfully, no accident took place during this time or else the youth would have to bear the brunt of the negligence of the police. The young man hails from Sakariakheri village in Manasa. He went to Maharashtra for wages. When the labor stopped due to lock down and corona infection, the young man was stuck there.

When SP Manoj Kumar Rai came to know about this matter, he also took it seriously. He said that the policemen took such a step in their zeal for their duty. They believed that this could be fatal for both the police and the youth. The SP said- We have given the information about the whole matter to the officer concerned. Necessary action will be taken after investigating the case.
