According to the order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Central Government has allowed the opening of shops and stand-alone shops adjacent to the residential colonies which fall within the limits of municipal corporations and municipalities. But with this permission, the Home Ministry has also imposed certain conditions.

According to the conditions, all the shops should be registered under the Establishment Act of the respective state / union territories. Only half the staff will be able to work in the shops. Masking by staff will be mandatory and social distancing measures will also have to be followed.
