Sirsa, Haryana : IAS officer Rani nagar said on Facebook that her life is in danger after sexual assault, will resign

Sirsa. IAS Rani Nagar, who was the deputy magistrate of Dabwali in Haryana, today posted a post on social media site Facebook saying that she and her sister are in danger of life and after the lockdown opens, she intends to resign from the government job and return to Ghaziabad. Originally a resident of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and a 2014 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, is currently Director, Archives and is residing in Chandigarh.

In her post at five o’clock this morning, Nagar has described her and sister Reema’s life as a threat. She has been living in Chandigarh for four months since December last year. Earlier, she had shared a video on Facebook three days ago, in which she appealed to the people, calling her and her sister’s life a threat. In this video, she has said that if something happens to her or she goes missing, then record this video of him as a statement in the CJM Chandigarh court under Case No. 3573/2019 for consideration.

Tsunagar is taking charge of Additional Director Social Justice and Empowerment from 14 November 2018 and Director, Archives from 7 March 2020. Despite being the SDM in Dabwali, he had threatened her life and gave a complaint to the DGP. In today’s post, she has written that curfew is currently in Chandigarh, due to which she and her sister cannot get out of Chandigarh. The road from Chandigarh to Ghaziabad is also closed. After the lockdown and curfew open, she will return to her ancestral city Ghaziabad with her sister after resigning in her office and taking permission from Sarkar as per rules.
