What was the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs first

In a directive issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday, April 15, it was stated that construction work will be allowed in various types of projects in rural areas from April 20, but in urban areas only construction work can be done in those projects where laborers from outside No need to bring This permission will also be in those areas where there is no case of infection or there is no hotspot.

What were practical problems

Real estate experts said that in most projects only 25 to 30 percent of the laborers are left and the rest have escaped. Similarly, there is not much building material on project sites. So until there is no freedom to bring laborers and building materials, it will be difficult to start work.

Government gave relief

In view of these practical problems, the government has made several changes in the guidelines for real estate. Now it has been said that migrant laborers will be able to move from one place to another within the state during the period of lockdown (bandh), but movement from one state to another will not be allowed.

The order issued by Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla states that in the areas outside the transition zone, additional activities have been allowed to start under the revised guidelines from April 20, so these workers are engaged in industrial, manufacturing, construction, agriculture and MNREGA.
