The Deputy Chief Minister has also said that it may be possible for companies to take weeks to bring back 50 per cent of the workforce. Additional passes should also be issued. Private car companies should not get discounts so soon. BMTC buses should be started instead
Let us tell you that the organization of information technology (IT) industry NASSCOM has said that IT companies will call employees to work from office in a phased manner. In the beginning, only an office of 15 to 20 percent employees will be called. The Home Ministry has issued guidelines in this regard on Wednesday in view of the nationwide bandh. As the corona virus spread, the government has increased the lockdown to 3 May on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Home Affairs issued guidelines for the states, union territories and general public during the extended period of bandh. As per the guidelines, IT and IT based service companies have been allowed to operate with up to 50 per cent employees.
Nasscom tweeted, ‘We will call the employees in office in a phased manner. Initially only 15 to 20 percent of the employees will be called to office.
Nasscom chairman Debjani Ghosh also tweeted that members have been informed to invite employees to work. We have suggested to call 15 to 20 percent employees in the first phase.

During the first phase of the bandh from March 24 to April 14, the government allowed IT and IT based services companies to call only nominal employees for important work. Right now most of the employees of IT companies are working from home.
