The minor, residing in Islampur, was produced by the police in the court of Manvendra Mishra, Principal Judicial Magistrate of Juvenile Justice Council. He freed the teenager. At the same time, the officials were ordered to help him in every possible way and give benefits of welfare schemes. He provided rations for the teenager to eat and clothes for his deranged mother. In his order, Mishra instructed the ISP of Islampur to take the teenager safely to his home and monitor his protection and testing. Also, asked to submit progress report related to Kishore to JJB (Juvenile Justice Council) every four months.

Father is dead, mother is deranged

Kishore’s father died a few years ago. After the death of his father his mother was deranged. The condition of the mother is such that even for daily activities, she is dependent on her son. There is also a younger brother. The responsibility of the maintenance of the family rests with the teenager. In the name of the house there is a broken mud hut of raw clay. There is not even a bed to sleep on. Mother and son sleep on the ground somehow. Food and drink is a big problem.
