Apple discontinues iPhone 8 series sales with iPhone SE 2020 launch

iPhone SE was launched in 2016, now in 2020 the company has launched its next version iPhone SE 2020 which looks like iPhone 8. The company has also stopped selling the iPhone 8 series.

Apple iPhone SE 2020 has been launched. With this launch, sales of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be discontinued by Apple. The company has removed it from its official website.

Although you can still buy the iPhone 8 series from third party websites like Amazon and Flipkart, they may not be available after the stock runs out.

The company launched the iPhone SE in 2016 and now four years later, in 2020, the company has replaced it with the iPhone SE 2020. Both the smartphones are quite different from each other in terms of design and hardware.

The price of this smartphone in India is more than the US price. In the US, it has been launched with a starting price of just $ 399.

If you convert 399 dollars to Indian rupees, then it is about 30,669 rupees, but here its initial price is 42,500 rupees which is quite high.

The company launched the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in September 2017. The special thing is that these were the last Apple phones in which Touch ID was given, since then the company did not launch smartphones with Touch ID. But this year, the company has brought Touch ID back once again with the iPhone SE 2020.

Significantly, the design of the iPhone SE 2020 also resembles the iPhone 8. The price of iPhone SE 2020 in India will start from Rs 42,500. It has the support of Touch ID and the company has once again introduced a bezel-less smartphone.

Talking about the specifications of iPhone SE 2020, this smartphone has the same processor as the iPhone 11 series, which is A13 Bionic. This smartphone has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, which is actually an LCD panel. In terms of design, the company has used glass and aluminum.

The company has not told when the sale of this smartphone will start in India. Obviously the lockdown has been extended till May 3, so the company will announce the availability of this smartphone in India only after that.
