Accused of misleading laborers arrested at Bandra station, FIR on 1000 people
Amid the lockdown, a man named Vinay Dubey is accused of misleading the mob at Bandra station. He was detained by the Navi Mumbai Police and handed over to the Mumbai Police.
In the case of huge gathering of migrant laborers at Mumbai’s Bandra railway station, the police has arrested a person named Vinay Dubey. Vinay Dubey was detained by Navi Mumbai Police and handed over to Mumbai Police. Amid the lockdown, Vinay Dubey is accused of misleading the crowd.
Vinay Dubey was running the campaign ‘Let’s go home’. In his post shared on Facebook, he had said that the team is in Bandra. In this case, the police has registered an FIR against one thousand people. A case has been registered against Dubey under sections 117, 153A, 188, 269, 270, 505 (2) of the IPC and section 3 of the Epidemic Act.
Let us know that on Tuesday, a huge crowd of migrant laborers had gathered at Mumbai’s Bandra railway station. All these workers reached the station to go home. The workers hoped that the lockdown would end. The police had to lathicharge to remove them. However, migrant laborers have now been removed from there. Lockdown has been extended till May 3 across the country.
Home Minister Amit Shah expressed concern over the incident. He said that this is not right in the midst of the ongoing fight against Corona. In this regard, he spoke to CM Uddhav Thackeray over phone. At the same time, Uddhav Thackeray said that the government will arrange these workers. They do not have to worry.
Here, Aditya Thackeray, Minister in Maharashtra Government tweeted on this whole incident and targeted the Central Government. He said that some workers had rioted in Surat recently. The central government could not take a decision to take them home. Aditya Thackeray said that migrant laborers do not want food and shelter, they want to go home.
