Only Jimny will come in petrol engine
Talking about the engine, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny will get a 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine that will come with 103bhp power and 138Nm torque. Let us tell you that this engine company uses in its Ciaz, Ertiga and Vitara Brezza. There will be a choice of 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque converter automatic. It will be an SUV based on ladder frame chassis. Apart from this, it will also get 4-drive with rigid axle and low-range transfer case. It will be made for special off-roading.
Smart features will be available
The new Jimny will get a SmartPlay infotainment system that will support Android Auto and Apple Car Play. It is believed that its price can be around 10 lakh rupees. The new Jimny will be sold from Nexa Premium dealership, and it is reported to be launched next year. However, the company has not given any information about it yet.
Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha to be coping
The new Jimny will compete directly with vehicles such as the Force Gurkha and the upcoming Mahindra Thar, which are already very popular in the off-roader segment. Auto experts believe that this could outweigh the Mahindra XUV300. It is also believed that after the arrival of Jimny, the sale of Vitara Brezza may be affected.
