On the morning of Sunday, April 12, at the Ganga Ghat in Bhadohi district, a woman jumped into the Ganges with the intention of committing suicide along with five children. The woman herself came out swimming, but the five children drowned. They have three girls and two sons. On asking the villagers, the woman said that I drowned the children.
Manju Yadav (36), wife of Mridul Yadav alias Munna, resident of Jahangirabad village in Gopiganj police station area, late night with her five children Shiv Shankar (6) Keshav Prasad (3), Aarti (11), Saraswati (7) and Mateshwari (5) in Jahangirabad. Ghat reached. He jumped into the Ganges with all the children. When asked by the villagers, who was sitting on the ghat in the morning, when asked by the villagers, they said that I drowned my five children in the Ganges. If the father of the children, Mridul Yadav believed, he went to Jharkhand last night with a relative. After getting the information, he rushed to the spot in a hurry.
He told that the wife is also mentally healthy and cannot understand how she took such a step. At the same time, the mother of the children alleged that there was a fight with the husband over something, after which he took such a decision. Divers and police continued to search for drowned children till the news was written, but nothing could be known about them.
