Donald Trump’s attack on WHO amidst Corona, says – pays attention China , will stop funding

Donald Trump has said that the World Health Organization receives a large amount of money from the US. But it seems that they are more focused on China. We are going to stop the amount spent on WHO.

US President Donald Trump has slammed the World Health Organization (WHO) for dealing with the corona virus epidemic. He has accused China of paying more attention to WHO.

Donald Trump has said, ‘The World Health Organization receives a large amount of money from America. When I banned travel to China, he disagreed with me and he (WHO) criticized me. They were wrong about a lot of things. It seems that they are more focused on China. We are going to ban the amount spent on WHO.

Donald Trump told journalists that he was going to put a major ban on the World Health Organization. The United States is the major source of funding of this United Nations body. Donald Trump, who gave the slogan of ‘America first’, said, ‘We are going to stop the money being spent on WHO.’ Trump has already targeted agencies working under the United Nations.

However, during the press conference, he did not give any information about how much money will be spent on the WHO. Donald Trump said: “I am not saying that I am going to do this.” He said, “We will consider ending funding.” According to Donald Trump, WHO “seems to be very biased towards China. This is not true.”

Referring to a ban on aircraft coming from China to prevent the spread of the Corona virus, Trump asked why the WHO had “made such a flawed recommendation.” Donald Trump, referring to his decision to impose a travel ban, tweeted, “Luckily, I rejected his advice to open my borders with China soon.”

However, Donald Trump’s statement came at a time when the whole world is struggling with the corona virus epidemic. Trump himself is also under criticism for his attitude in dealing with the Corona virus in America.

Trump’s statement on India

Prior to this comment on the World Health Organization, Donald Trump’s statement about India was also at the center of the discussion. Donald Trump had warned India to face harsh consequences in hidden terms for not giving ‘hydroxychloroquine’ medicines to malaria. He said that it would be shocking for him not to give medicines to India even after a personal request as Washington has good relations with New Delhi.

Let us know that hydroxychloroquine is an old and inexpensive medicine for malaria. Trump has described it as practical for the treatment of corona virus. More than 12,000 people have died in the US due to Corona virus infection and about three and a half lakh people are infected with it.
