Earlier, seven earthquakes of 3 to 4.5 magnitude occurred in the district from 27 to 30 March. Most parts of Himachal Pradesh, including Chamba, fall in the high earthquake sensitive area. A low intensity earthquake was felt in Jammu and Kashmir.
