Bodies of the corona virus dead will not be handed over to their family members

Taking an important decision, the Chandigarh Haryana government has said that if a person dies of corona in the near future, his body will not be given to his family members. According to the religion of the deceased, the government will be responsible for his last actions. On Sunday, a notification in this regard has been issued by the local bodies department.

In the instructions issued by the government, the officials of the district administration and bodies have been asked to inform the operators of Shamshanghat and the cemetery about this. Sanitation has also been asked to sanitize the crematorium and cemetery. Class IV employees of the bodies will be entrusted with the rituals.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) kit will be provided to the employees who complete the rituals. Not only this, the government will also give incentives to such employees. How much incentive will be given to the cremation workers, the government can announce it next week. Hindus will be cremated in the crematorium. At the same time, Muslims will be buried in the cemetery.

The government has decided that the Urban Local Bodies Department will conduct the cremation of those who died from Corona. The dead body will not be handed over to the family. Corona virus cases are increasing in Haryana. Today four new cases were reported in Mewat. All these are associated with the tabligi Jamaat. After this, Corona cases have increased to 74 in the state. The health department says that since April 2, 40 cases of infection have been reported. There are 30 of them.
