Education Desk. There was no education in the family of Ramadhar Prasad Yadav in Babni village of Madhepura district of Bihar. No source of income. There was a lot of land. Somehow used to feed the children by working hard. Ramadhar wanted to teach his son Tulsi. Started sending school but, due to poverty, Tulsi missed her studies after third grade. After this Ramadhar lost confidence in his studies. They started to understand that studies are only for the rich. But Basil felt sorry that he could not read. Therefore, he wanted to make his three children a big man by teaching and writing.

Dada
wanted to go to school for his son Pradip, but Dada Ramadhar would stop him. They say, only rich people can become big men. They would send Pradeep to herd a buffalo. When he grew up, he started attending government school. Dada got angry when he came to know. According to him, studying for the poor is a waste of time. Pradeep used to take the buffalo out of the house and handed it over to friends and started studying in the fields himself. In the same way, he passed the fourth grade from the top position. When Dada came to know, he stopped going to school.

When
a teacher came to know that he had sold the land for studies , he came home. He persuaded the housemates to send Pradeep to school with great difficulty. When he went to search for Pradeep, he found him sitting on the back of a buffalo in the fields. Seeing this, his father tears up. At that moment he decided to teach Pradeep further. Pradeep started working very hard under the guidance of Masterji. If he did not have books in tenth, he would have done the work by asking someone. The father had no money at the time of filling the form. Due to illness, there was no food in the house. With no help, Tulsi also sold the last piece of land.

Entering BHU after getting rank in IIT,
Pradeep passed tenth, but the way forward was not known. During this time someone told him about the “Super 30”. He reached Patna by train to meet me without a ticket, because there was no money to buy the ticket. After listening to his story, I included him in my batch. Here Pradeep did one day and night to fulfill his dreams. Confident that he had been determined for selection months before the exam. When the IIT result came in 2013, he was ranked well. It happened and he got admission in IIT, BHU. Now Pradeep is working in a big company. His family’s financial condition has improved. The joy of studying in IIT and after a good job, he also got the pleasure of this. Is that he succeeded in changing the perception of grandfather.
