new Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor held a joint press conference on the problems faced by the people of Delhi due to the lockdown in Delhi. Kejriwal said that during the lockdown, the government is preparing to transport milk, vegetables, medicines and essential goods to the homes of the people. The government is going to take this step to prevent the gathering of shops at grocery and essential items. He also talked about issuing e-passes for essential services.
Kejriwal said, “Central Government, Lieutenant Governor, Delhi Government, Police and doctors are all working together for your health. Your cooperation is needed in this. Call out directly to the commissioner’s office if you have any problems on getting out for essential services. A helpline number will also be released by evening. Where you will be able to complain about all kinds of problems. It will be the responsibility of the Center and Delhi Government to solve your problem.
Will issue passes to those who need
Kejriwal said that soon the process of issuing passes to the people of Delhi will be started. Passes will be given to all those people who need to get out, including electricity, milk, grocery, media. Helpline numbers will also be issued for such people. People will be able to get e-pass immediately by calling on it.
Factories related to medical equipment will continue to operate,
Kejriwal said that factories manufacturing medical equipment, including face masks, sanitizers, will continue to operate. People working in these passes will also be issued.
