Nirbhaya Case: Relatives of convicts beat up person supporting hanging
Relatives of the culprits clashed with the people supporting the hanging outside the court during the hearing in Patiala House Court on Thursday to get Nirbhaya convicts hanged. The matter was so hot that relatives of the culprits thrashed one person.
The relatives of the culprits also tore the clothes of Sikhs. After this, some other people present on the spot rescued the dispute and got the quarrel ended. Meanwhile, people also opposed AP Singh, the lawyer for the culprits. During this, there was a fierce commotion outside the court.
Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana started hearing on the plea of the culprits at around 12:30 pm. During this time there was a large crowd of convicts and acquaintances of Nirbhaya in the court room. Along with this, many people were waiting for a decision outside the court.
After the hearing began, the counsel for the convict AP Singh reached the court. Meanwhile, some people outside the court opposed AP Singh and said that whosoever will, the culprits will be hanged. The relatives of the culprits got into an argument with him.
