While Biden received 37.9 percent of the vote, Sanders received 36.4 percent of the vote. Primary elections are currently being held in Arizona, Florida and Illinois. Biden supports 898 delegates

The Democratic Party has a total of 3979 delegates and it is necessary to get the support of the 1991 delegates to get the presidential candidacy from the party. Biden is supported by 898 delegates. They need 1,093 delegates. Sanders is supported by 745 delegates. They need 1246 delegates. If even then a candidate does not get the support of the 1991 delegates, a second election process will be adopted for this.

If Sanders had won this election, he could have strengthened his claim to Biden in the Democratic Party. If Sanders does not perform well, the pressure will increase on him to quit.
