Varun Dhawan’s ‘Mr Lele’ shooting stopped, second blow after slipping Remo’s dance film
Varun Dhawan’s recently announced film ‘Mr. Lele’ is in trouble. The film, which is going to be directed by Shashank Khaitan, was to start shooting in the first week of March but due to the busy schedule of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film has been put on hold for the time being.
According to the information, it was not possible to get the dates of both the artists at the same time. In the next few weeks, Varun will be busy with Arun Khetrapal’s biopic being directed by Shriram Raghavan. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor will also start promoting ‘Gunjan Saxena The Kargil Girl’ from the end of this month.
To resolve these situations, the two artists also reached Shashank Khaitan’s residence last week but despite all efforts, the issue could not reach any solution. Because of this, the film has been stopped for the time being and it can be thought of starting work on it in the future.
Significantly, this is not the first film that seems to be slipping from Varun’s hands. Earlier, Varun’s leaf has also been cut from a dance film. Tiger Shroff’s entry has now been done in Remo D’Souza’s film. Both have previously worked in ‘A Flying Jatt’. The mutual experience of both of them was quite good, after which they again expressed a desire to work together, however both Remo and Tiger became very busy in their other films.
