Chhattisgarh budget / Government will bear the expenses for the education of youth who pass the entrance of IIT-IIM and AIIMS

Raipur. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel presented the second budget of the state on Tuesday. Like last time, special care has been taken of farmers in this budget. The teachers have received the biggest good news from the government in the budget. It has been announced to make 16 thousand teachers who have completed two years of work from July 1 on regular basis. At the same time, the government will also bear the admission and education expenses of the youth of the state who pass the entrance exam of IIT-IIM and AIIMS. The budget has a focus on youth, health and tourism. The budget of tourism has been increased by 70%.

Chief Minister Baghel started the budget with the slogan ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhin: Surve Santu Niramaya, Surve Bhadrani Pakshyantu’. The Chief Minister presented a budget of 1 lakh 2 thousand 907 crore, which is 7 thousand crore more than the last time. The Chief Minister said that the State Government has waived loans to 17.34 lakh farmers. According to the Economic Survey, the state’s GDP is expected to grow by 7.06% in 2018-19.

APL card holders now also get 10 rupees rice per kg


All the families of the state are included in the PDS system in the budget. APL card holders will also be given Rs 10 per kg of rice. This will benefit 56 lakh card holders of the state. 2 kg of gram per family per month of scheduled tribe dominated areas. At the same time, 2 kg jaggery per family will be given free in Bastar. It was also announced to start Mukhyamantri Suchitran Yojana across the state. Till now it was limited to Bastar area only. In this, nutrition will be provided to pregnant women and children.

Treatment can be done by showing ration card

Baghel has made changes in the rules of Dr. Khubchand Baghel Health Assistance Scheme in the budget. It includes cashless treatment facility up to Rs. 5 lakh to families with Antyodaya ration cards and Rs. 50 thousand to families with general ration cards. The special thing is that for this only ration cards have to be shown in hospitals. For the treatment of serious diseases, the government has announced to give up to 20 lakh rupees.

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana launched

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana has been launched to provide the amount of paddy difference to farmers. A provision of 5100 crore has been made for this. Under Krishak Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, agriculture pumps up to 5 horsepower will be provided free of cost. A provision of 1603 crore has been made for MNREGA. At the same time, 1176 biogas plants will be set up. Simultaneously, the Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme for tap connection will be launched. In this, pipeline will be laid in rural areas.

Five horticulture colleges to be built

The budget also announced the creation of Horticulture Colleges in Bemetara, Jashpur, Dhamtari and Arjunda, Balod and Agriculture University in Lorami. Food technology will be introduced at Indira Gandhi Agricultural College, Raipur. The budget has announced the opening of dairy colleges in Bemetara and Takhatpur. In addition, Fisheries Polytechnic will be built at Dhamdha. 9 animal clinics will be upgraded. 12 new animal clinics and 5 mobile veterinary units will be set up. A Gurukul school will be set up in Giroudpuri, Balodabazar, the birthplace of Saint Guru Ghasidas. Girls colleges will be opened in Sukma, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Bijapur and Takhatpur. ITIs will be opened in the industrial area Sirgitti, Nagarnar, Tilda.

There will be a youth festival every year in all the districts


9 polytechnic colleges in the state will be upgraded. In addition, Youth Festival will be held every year in every district. The Chhattisgarh Sports Development Authority will be constituted to promote sports in the state. 61 new hostels will be opened for Scheduled Tribe children. National Tribal Dance Festival will be held every year on State Foundation Day. 10 post matric hostels will be made for free residential facility to students from backward class during higher education. Special Junior Staff Selection Board will be set up for recruitment to the third and fourth category posts of district cadre for Sarguja and Bastar divisions and Korba.
