Delhi / Youth in Rajiv Chowk Metro station shouted slogans “desh ke gaddaron…”, 6 in custody
new Delhi. At Rajiv Chowk metro station on Saturday morning, a group of youths raised slogans to shoot the traitors of the country. As usual, the movement of passengers was going on at the station, during this time, some boys with white shirt and headdress suddenly started shouting ‘Shoot the traitors of the country …’. The same slogan was introduced during a Delhi election by BJP MP and Union Minister Anurag Thakur at a rally. During the sloganeering, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the station. The security personnel present on the spot have detained 6 youths and handed them over to the police. Everyone is under questioning.

The video of the sloganeering at the metro station is going viral. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) said that the incident occurred at 10:52 am. Any kind of performance is prohibited at the station. According to the news agency, the slogans started when the boys were about to stop at the metro station. It is being told that the youth also raised slogans in support of the CAA.
Opposition blamed these slogans for violence in Delhi
So far 42 people have died in the violence in north-east Delhi on the issue of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Congress leaders have termed the slogans of Anurag Thakur as responsible for the violence. It is alleged that BJP leaders have instigated people for violence in Delhi. Following this slogan, a youth was also openly firing on the people protesting against the CAA in Delhi.
