On J Jayalalithaa’s Birth Anniversary, Kangana Ranaut’s New Thalaivi Still Goes Viral

J Jayalalithaa biopic ‘Thalaivi’ is currently filming and lead actress Kangana Ranaut’s new still from the film was unveiled on the occasion of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s birth anniversary on Monday.

Kangana Rananut has raised anticipation around her J Jayalalithaa biopic yet again as a new look of the actress in a younger version of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister was revealed on social media. February 24 marks the birth anniversary of Jayalalithaa and the new look of Kangana from Thalaivi has been released on the special occasion.

In the new image, Kangana is seen wearing a simple white saree with black and red border as she ties her hair in a neat bun. She also sports a bindi on her forehead as she smiles for the camera. The new pic only raises our anticipation about Thalaivi, all set to release on June 26. The new image sees Kangana as a 30-something Jayalalithaa as she forays into politics.

Kangana has started shooting for the film: Thalaivi from November last year. The film is being produced by Vishnu Induri. While the direction is of L. Vijay. From 1965 to 1973, MGR acted in about 28 films with Jayalalithaa. Jayalalithaa’s debut film with MGR was ‘Aayrathil Oruvan’. Which came in 1965.

Arvind Bane MGR: MG Ramachandran’s 103rd birth anniversary was on 17 January, so the makers released Arvind Swamy’s look as MGR on this day. Jayalalithaa’s biopic ‘Thalaivi’ is scheduled to release on 26 June. MGR also played an important role in bringing Jayalalithaa into politics. Arvind Swamy is playing this role in the film.
