‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ gets love from Donald Trump

NEW DELHI : Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest comedy drama Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan has received some love from US President Donald Trump as it hits screens across the world this week.
Trump retweeted LGBT and human rights activist Peter Tatchell who said the new film is looking to change attitudes in India regarding homosexuality and same-sex love.
Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan stars Jitendra Kumar, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta alongside Khurrana and is one of the rare mainstream Bollywood films to take on homosexuality after Kapoor &Sons and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.
Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will lead a 12-member American delegation to Ahmedabad, Agra and New Delhi on February 24 and 25.
Trump arrives in Ahmedabad on Monday and will be speaking at the “Namaste Trump” event organised at the Motera Stadium along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The US official said that Trump would then proceed to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.
