The complete schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 has been officially rolled out on the official website and app. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will kickstart the fresh season of IPL 2020 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 29. The last match of the round-robin stage will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on May 17.
The first match between MI and CSK will be followed by Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi on March 30. In match no. 3, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the M Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru.

There will be no doubleheaders this time on Saturdays after the IPL governing council accepted the request by the broadcasters. The league stage has been stretched by a week to accommodate extra matches. The league stage of IPL 2020 will now run for 50 days as opposed to 44 days last year.
MI will look to defend their IPL trophy after defeating CSK in a thrilling last-ball final of IPL 2019 whereas other teams will be hoping to break CSK and MI’s dominance in the cash-rich tournament. While almost all the teams have revamped their respective sides in the IPL 2020 auction, which was held in December 2019 in Kolkata, it would be interesting to see how the teams fare after the start of the competition.
In a new, IPL 2020 will see the introduction of exclusive third-umpire no-ball calls along with concussion substitute after BCCI president Sourav Ganguly confirmed the same a few weeks back. All the evening matches will be played at 8:00 pm while the afternoon matches will be played at 4:00 pm. The tentative fixture of the playoff stages and final hasn’t been announced as of now.
